Washing
Machine Washable: Polyester can typically be machine washed. Use warm water and a regular detergent.

Avoid Overloading: Do not overload the washing machine to allow thorough cleaning and avoid wrinkles.

Stain Treatment: Treat stains as soon as possible. Apply a small amount of liquid detergent directly to the stain and let it sit for a few minutes before washing.

Drying
Tumble Dry on Low: Polyester can be tumble dried on a low heat setting. High heat can cause polyester to shrink or become misshapen.

Remove Promptly: To avoid wrinkles, remove polyester items from the dryer promptly and either fold or hang them.

Air Dry: Alternatively, polyester items can be air dried. Lay them flat or hang them to dry in a well-ventilated area.

Ironing
Low Heat Setting: If ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting. Polyester can melt or become shiny if the iron is too hot.

Use a Pressing Cloth: Place a pressing cloth or a piece of fabric between the iron and the polyester garment to prevent direct heat contact.

Steaming: Steaming is a great option to remove wrinkles from polyester. Hold the steamer at a distance to avoid water spots.

Storage
Hanging Storage: Hang polyester garments to prevent wrinkles and creases. Use sturdy hangers to maintain the shape of the garment.

Folded Storage: If you need to store polyester items in drawers, fold them neatly to avoid deep creases.

General Tips
Avoid Fabric Softeners: Fabric softeners can leave a residue on polyester. Use them sparingly or choose a detergent with built-in fabric softener.

Cold Rinse: Rinse polyester items in cold water to help maintain their color and prevent fading.

Check Labels: Always check the care labels on your polyester items for specific washing and drying instructions.
